Mr. Barbieri serves as Director of Operations for Mergers & Acquisitions Services and is responsible for internal and external financial reporting and operations.

Mr. Barbieri has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily at GenRe (a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway). At GenRe he advanced to Vice President of Global Finance, where his responsibilities included U.S. GAAP reporting/consolidation, Sarb/Ox, auditor relations, global budgeting/forecasting, cash management and team building.

Mr. Barbieri is recognized as a subject-matter expert in the application and interpretation of complex accounting and financial reporting standards, in accordance with the FASB and the SEC.

Mr. Barbieri is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and was a two time All American Diver. He earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Haven and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
